Eastern Construction offers nearly seven decades of experience building complex facilities in Canada’s urban centres.  Working in an urban context requires an uncompromising focus on the safety of people and surrounding property.  Eastern rises above client expectations in our planning, timing, and coordination of trades by developing extensive staging, hoarding, and phasing models to pre-plan temporary closures, access, and sequencing to minimize the impact of our work on the surrounding community.

Reaching decades back into our rich 70-year history, Eastern constructed a multitude of noteworthy buildings such as Roy Thomson Hall, 33 Yonge Street, Simcoe Place, CBC Broadcast Centre, Toronto Eaton Centre, Sherway Gardens, Upper Canada Mall, Bata Shoe Museum, Sunlife Towers, the original Hospital for Sick Children, and the South Hall of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Today, Eastern offers a substantial portfolio of work in the higher education sector in addition to an expertise in the adaptive re-use of heritage structures, high-performance buildings, and tall wood structures.
