Ryerson University and Eastern Construction executed the Construction Management agreement on October 9th for the Church Street Development. With an overall budget of $110 Million, this exciting project will act as the southern gateway to Ryerson’s campus and embrace sustainability in its construction, facility management, and energy construction.
Quoting Ryerson Builds, the Church Street Development (CSD) will transform an existing parking lot located just north of Dundas on Church Street into a combination of academic and administrative spaces, housing for students, retail areas, and an underground parking garage. The CSD will be home to Ryerson’s Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, the Midwifery Education, School of Nutrition, School of Occupational and Public Health, Communications, Government & Community Engagement, University Advancement, Food Services and a Fabrication Zone. The facility will open to students in time for Fall 2018.
